Philosophy of Education

Christian education at The King's Christian School involves instruction in which the authorship of God in all true knowledge of creation and its affairs is gratefully acknowledged and honored. As such, it encompasses instruction concerning all truth that is revealed to man. (Jn. 1:1-31; 1 Tim. 3:16; Ps. 32:8; Heb. 12:2; Rom. 11:33; Gen. 1:1; Deut. 32:4; 1 Sam. 2:3)

The ultimate goal of education at The King's Christian School is to prepare students to be "fit for the Master's use," helping students glorify and enjoy God. This involves spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical training. While it is recognized that end results rest largely with individual students and their aspirations, the responsibility of the school is to provide an atmosphere where optimum growth is both possible and encouraged. The King's Christian School is committed to providing a quality Christian education for as wide a spectrum of children from Christian homes as possible. (Pr. 22:6; Is. 28:9, 101; Cor. 10:31; Jn. 20:31; Rom. 15:4; Pr. 27:17) (Pr. 9:10; Ps. 119:97-99; Pr. 2:1-9; Pr. 8:1-21; Pr. 27:91; Cor. 9:27)
