REGIONAL AND GLOBAL MISSIONS

“I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.” Psalm 108:3 NIV

For the past 24 years, The King’s Christian School has partnered with churches and mission organizations around the world to send out teams of students to share the love of Jesus Christ. Our students have served in locations as close to home as Philadelphia and as far away as South Africa.

Some of our regional and global partners have been Christian Student Ministries in Washington D.C. and Toronto, Center for Student Missions in Boston and New York, the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in Globe Arizona, the Richard Wurmbrand Christian School in Romania, the Karios Center in Newcastle, Northern Ireland, Word of Life Missionaries in Africa, and Enderby Mission Church in England.

The missions program at King’s has impacted many lives for Christ, including those of the teen missionaries themselves. A year-long discipleship training program is a big part of their spiritual growth, but the experience of ministering to those in great need leaves an impression on our students that they do not forget.

Jamaica mission trip

“My favorite part of the week was when we had the activities with the children of the community. We played games with them, gave them snacks, and shared the gospel. These were some of the happiest little kids I have ever seen, which was so encouraging considering the difficulty of their circumstances.”–Rachel, Jamaica team member.

In 2019, a team of TKCS high school students again travelled to Enderby, England to partner with the Enderby Mission Church in ministry to children and youth. They also led a teen retreat at Hillhouse in Somerset, England and engaged in open air evangelism.

In 2023, a team of 21 high school students and 5 faculty members from TKCS travelled to Puerto Rico.  During their trip the team helped paint a local art school and ran a VBS program for kids in the local community.
