The King’s Christian School’s administration, faculty, and staff serve as a living curriculum, sharing the beliefs, values, and expectations of Christian parents. As role models, teachers are themselves an open book, providing valuable lessons that will help shape your child’s value system, moral character, and social development. When discipline is necessary, your child is treated with love and respect and carefully reminded of God’s uncompromising standards. TKCS faculty and administrators must be ACSI certified by successfully completing the ACSI Christian Philosophy of Education requirement and participating annually in professional development in educational and biblical studies.

What is your favorite thing about your job at TKCS?
“I began working at TKCS in April of 2022. I knew when I was in high school that I wanted to work for either a church or a Christian organization. I attended Liberty University and graduated in December of 2020, right in the middle of a pandemic. It was difficult to find a job during that time, but the Lord remained faithful during my search. I worked at a company for a short time after college, but it was in a secular environment that I did not enjoy being a part of. When a parent at TKCS sent me the job posting at King’s in May of 2022, it was an answer to prayer. I knew right away that this was where the Lord was calling me to work. My favorite part about my job is being able to live out my faith daily and using the gifts that the Lord has blessed me with for His glory. I love attending different school events and capturing photos for the students and their families.”

About me:
“Outside of school, I like to travel and I like baseball. My brother and I are nearing the end of a multi-year mission to see a baseball game at every Major League stadium. As we travel the country we also visit national parks and unique local attractions. Ask me about Bryce Canyon or Lower Antelope Canyon. Spectacular!”

What is your favorite thing about your job at TKCS?
“I love meeting families that have a desire to educate their children in biblical truth. I was blessed to attend Christian school K-12 and was thankful for the preparation I received spiritually, and academically. I get to share my experience with prospective families as well as the experience my boys had as recent graduates (2019, 2021 & 2023). The decision to send your child to The King’s Christian School is an eternal investment that is invaluable. I’m thankful my parents made that sacrifice for me.”
About me:
“My husband Bryon and I have been married for 28 years and enjoy spending time with our boys. We travel to watch two of them play baseball in college. Our favorite family vacation is a fishing trip to a lake in Ontario, Canada each summer that started for my dad when he was 17 years old. It was a tradition from my childhood that we’ve extended to our boys.”

“My job here as a school librarian was an answer to prayer as I prepared to go back to work after raising my children and realized that I did not want to return to the practice of law. I had been volunteering in the MS/HS library under Mr. Johnson for years and when my youngest children were about to graduate, he went to the head of school and asked her to give me his job so that I would not have to leave. The head of school agreed on the condition that I get my MLIS, so at the age of 57 I returned to Rutgers University, and I have been serving as the librarian here ever since.”
